People really like survival horror games. According to Valve, pre-orders ofLeft 4 Deadare outperformingOrange Box’snumbers by over 65 percent at this point pre-launch. The big question is, how many pre-orders is that exactly? Valve is remaining mum on that subject, but according to our number crunching gremlins, over 65% ofOrange Boxpresales means “a lot.”
The percentage speaks to the hype surrounding the game and it seems quite valid. This summer at E3, Nick Chester and Anthony Burch were able toplay a four-player cooperative sessionof the game. Even though the presentation was only five minutes, Nick seemed fairly impressed. He said the game was “Really, really awesome. Mind-blowingly awesome. Disgustingly rad.”
