In case you were wondering, Frozenbyte has still been working away post-release support for its action/puzzle platformerTrine; a dedicated bunch if I’ve ever seen one.
Patch 1.06 went out a few days ago for owners of the Steam version, and the studio just gave us the heads up that the retail counterpart isnow availableas well. What’s most interesting is that retail copies ofTrine— with the help of this new patch — no longer use copy protection.
With the majority of DRM-related news ending up being largely negative, this is a nice change of pace, for once. Feel free to read up on everything else this patch does by clicking past the break.
