We somehow failed to post this story when it broke earlier this week, which is ironic since this story is aboutL.A. Noireletting you do the same — skip over things if you don’t feel like doing them at the time!

Yep, Rockstar and Team Bondi are apparentlyverykeen to get people invested inL.A. Noire‘s story, so much so that you’ll be able to gloss over action sequences, should you fail to complete them after a number of tries. According to Rockstar, you can skip these sections and still enjoy the “bulk” of the narrative.

Some may applaud this bold new move, others may write it off as yet more “dumbing down” in the gaming sphere. Personally, I’m not moved to rage, but I do question the kind of gamer who wants to cut out chunks of a $60 purchase. It’s the same as people who cheat to get to the final level of a game. All I see it as is someone tossing their money down the drain.

Still, it’s not like wehaveto use it, so it’s all good.
