Hideo Kojima loves to make announcements, and we love to hear them since he’s usually talking about something good. This week the announcements came via theHidechannel Radio podcast and there are afew of them.
To begin with it appears thatCastlevania: Lord of Shadowswill have a connection toMetal Gearin the from of voice actorsAkio Otsuka (voice of Solid Snake), Fujiwara Keiji (Drebin), Kikuchi (voice of Raven, Strangelove) and Mugihito (voice of Coldman). Also word of a newMetal Gearmusic album was dropped.
The biggest bit of news is that we might be seeing aPeacewalkersequel some day… or not. When asked about making a second game Kojima stated that he was looking into a game that you could play at home and take with you. He thinks that is where the future of gaming is going. Something big and epic, but also portable. He knows he will make it, but he isn’t sure if it will be a sequel.
