Sony has released the final box art forMLB 10 The Show, and it’s … veryblue. You can check out the full cover image, featuring AL MVPJoe Mauer, in the gallery below. While it’s nice to see a cover design that’s different from the past two years ofcover-athlete-on-grayed-out-stadium-background, I’m not sure if this was the way to go.
In any case, I don’t really care about the front of the box as much as about what’sinthe box, and if myhands-on previewis any indication,MLB 10is going to bring the goods yet again. With all kinds of gameplay improvements (like collision detection, for once) andnew featuressuch as Catcher Mode, I’m as excited as ever to check out the full game, which will be out on July 23, 2025, for the PS3, PS2, and PSP.
What do you guys think — yea or nay on the blue (cerulean, perhaps, to be specific) box art?
