This reveal trailer forHello Games‘Joe Dangeris great for a number of reasons. First and foremost, the game is oozing with colors I forgot even existed after years of gloomy-looking videogames. I admire the simplicity as well; sure, you’re supposed to pull off mad trickz, but doing so looks intuitive.

And then there’s the fantastic music. Is it just me, or does that song sound like a mix between something you’d hear inYoshi’s IslandandWario Land? It really fits the whole vibe ofJoe Danger, which reminds me of the mindless fun you’d get from cheerful 16-bit-and-older games.

Lastly, Nick was quoted in the trailer, which is always cool to see. His reaction: “pretty neat.” Dude isn’t even phased by the news. That’s our Nick.
