Twitter is the hot new Internet craze at the moment, providing the self-absorbed and the self-promotional with an easy venue for stroking their own ego. This is why I’m such a fan. Another fan is Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling, who has beenusing Twitterto touch base withCall of Dutyfans andhas found himselfutterly swamped.
Bowling Twittered a very simple statement: “Name one thing you’d like to see inModern Warfare 2.” In a short amount of time, the Infinity Ward Twitter account was inundated with 232 pages of suggestions from fans, becoming one of the most talked about subjects on the whole site. The brainstorming turned into a separate discussion which now sits at 1,985 pages!

Infinity Ward may be using Twitter more in the future inform fans about beta tests, community days and any other news, so if you’re a fan ofModern Warfareand have an account, it may be worth following them.
