I love announcements about announcements. For instance, at this year’s QuakeCon, id Software spoke at the opening press conference and revealed that there would be noDoom 4reveal … at least, not this year.Giant Bombreports that the only thing iddidsay about the game is that there won’t be any announcements regarding it until next year’s QuakeCon. See ya next year!
One small (but really cool) tidbit that leaked out was thatKevin Cloud, id’s co-founder, will be running theDoom 4project, and since he’s been around since the originalDoom, that can only mean good things. A year is a while to wait, but it’s better than having no date to look forward to at all, isn’t it?
