My holiday travels have been rough at best. Delays, snow, scheduling. Blah. The brightness in this dark time for me has been the upcoming Atlus releaseRadiant Historia,a new RPG for the Nintendo DS. They sent me preview code not to long ago, and I’m well into the game now, getting in as much as I can whenever I can. This is a good little RPG with a cool time traveling twist. Add in great visuals, killer music from Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts, Parasite Eve) and a nifty battle system and you’ve got a game that has me shrugging off three flight delays in a row. Standby? Who cares! I’m good!

Atlus sent along some new screenshots today. You’ll find them in our gallery below. In them you’ll see the lovely, sprite-y artwork, but you won’t see how you can go back in time to rewrite history — that’s the best part. And you won’t hear the awesome soundtrack, which comes free as a CD in launch copies of the game. For more on both points, look for my full review ofRadiant Historia, which will drop some time before the February 2011 release.
