Last week, a package arrive from 2K Games that contained a mysterious vinyl record. On it was printed “Rapture Records,” the font and name immediately recognizable — we had a promotionalBioShock 2item on our hands.

After trying to get the 7″ vinyl to work on our iPhones, Zunes, and PlayStation 3s, we finally got our hands on a record player. So what secrets lie within the grooves of the phonograph? Side A contained an anthem for Rapture, an uplifting number you might hear before a ball game… if that was the kind of thing they did underwater.

The B-side was mostly the same, a repeat of the anthem… to a point. As the music crackles and fades out, a little girls voice comes in, calling out for her “daddy.” Creepy isn’t the word for it; we’ve been having nightmares about it all weekend.
