After weeks ofdowntime and PR nightmares, you’d think Sony’s had enough. Unless you’re one of several hackers recently spotted planning a third attack on the company’s network. Seriously guys, I thinkeverybody’shad enough.
According to reports, the hackers are quite openly discussing their next move, and plan to publicize the information they reap — which could include the personal details of customers. They claim to have already infiltrated some of Sony’s servers in the wake of the previous two breaches.
If this attack does go down, it’s supposed to do so this weekend. Brace yourselves!
If anything, this’ll be a test of Sony’s new security measures but even I — a guy who holds Sony culpable to a large degree — is starting to feel sorry for the PS3 platform holder. Can we not go back to trolling racists and homophobes online, rather than videogame companies?
