Namco Bandai’s awesomely-namedMonster HunterripoffGod Eateris looking to do quite well, if the demo numbers are anything to go by. Despite having gone live less than two months ago, the ten-mission PSP demo has already been downloaded (and presumably played) a million times. As for the reasons why, I’ve got a few guesses:
Plus, characters and gear from the demo can be exported into the main game, so it’s a great incentive to hook otherwise ambivalent players.
I’m seriously stoked for seeing this thing make a debut on our side of the Pacific, so here’s to seeing it do well in Glorious Nippon. Now check out a new trailer embedded below.
