If you’re still on the fence aboutGuitar Hero: Metallica, Activision is doing its best to make you decision today. The publisher has announced that a demo for the game will be available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace today.
The demo will include four tracks: Metallica’s “Sad But True” and “Seek and Destroy,” as well “No Excuses” by Alice in Chains and “Stone Cold Crazy” by Queen. It also features one venue, “The Forum,” as well as single-player and band quickplay, head-to-head, Face-Off, Pro Face-Off and Battle gameplay modes.
Releasing a demo of the game can go either way for Activision. On one hand, anyone who was intent on buyingGuitar Hero: Metallicawill just get more amped up about it. But for those who weren’t fans ofGuitar Hero World Tour, maybe they’ll find that playing Metallica tracks is as fun and challenging as it sounds. Or maybe not. Give it a try and let us know.
