OK, so this was definitely a first for me. Well, not the making cupcakes part, but you know, this is my first time I’d ever decorated them with fondant. I started about 11 a.m. this morning baking them, and a little over 10 hours later I had these!

Now, it’s not often that I have quite that much free time to do that brain numbing of decorating, but it was enjoyable. I think they all turned out pretty well, especially given the time and effort it took. I have some fondant left over so I’ll probably make more at some point, but not nearly as many in one day next time.
Just for a note: All of the colors were hand dyed, as the fondant starts out as white. So all of these were hand crafted and hand dyed.
