QCF Design’s award-winningDesktop Dungeonswas a free, indie puzzle-roguelike thing I got madly (and secretly) addicted to, then bothered to tell none of you about. The original versionis still availablein all of its pixelated glory, and I urge you to try it. There’s much news to discuss, however.

PC and Mac pre-ordersare openfor the new-and-improvedDesktop Dungeons, which is quite the step up visually from its freeware brethren.QCF also statesthat getting on Steam is the plan, and more versions — web, Android, and iPhone, to be exact — are on the horizon.
