Who would’ve guessed it — theMetal Gear Onlinebeta went live just in time for Friday Night Fights. Talk about timing! I’m excited about it and I don’t even own a freakin’ PlayStation 3.

Additionally, Pedro (MGOID = Pedro) will be hosting tonight. Here’s how to join his match: “go to Lobby Select, then Free Battle, then pick EVA for the server, then go to Join Game, and finally find the Destructoid game. The password will bedtoid.”
Mini-guide for meeting up with Dtoiders forSuper Smash Bros. Brawl:
The IRC way: head on over to thisWeb site(or start up your own IRC client) and type “/join #dtoid-brawl” without the quotation marks.
The Ventrilo way: download and installVent. Then use the following info to log onto Dtoid’s server:
• IP/Hostname: VOICE-VA2.BRANZONE.COM• Port: 3790• Password: None
Once you’re in, you’ll need to use the password “ftw” to access the Social Lounge.
The 360 way: use your Xbox 360 to chat with people on your friends list. Steam or IM are good alternatives too.
