Renegade Kid’s Creative Director Jools Watsham has decided to reveal the first footage of their upcoming Nintendo DS game,Moon, via a web cam. And then posting the video up on YouTube. Yes, we’re talking about footage of a Nintendo DS game taken with a web cam.
Hey, it’s not the best way to make a first impression, but it works. Renegade Kids’ impressive 3D engine (which powered last year’sDementium) is rendering some pretty nifty space environments, and there’s even a tease of a vehicle towards the end of the video.
The video was filmed for Jool’sMoonblog over at IGN, which I only mention as not to anger the Internet gods (the video was posted on YouTube with no watermark). Hilariously, there’s also about a minute worth of overt pimping forDementiumbefore anything starts, so you be sure to stick with it.
