We got a previewof what power aFinal Fantasygame has in Japan when we saw the first week sales of the PS3 jump in the same week that theFinal Fantasy VII Advent Children CompleteBlu-ray collection was released. Sony’s console broke sales records with 57,000 units sold that same week. It gets better, though.
Now that we can look back at the month, we’re seeing a huge increase in sales for the PlayStation 3. According to the sales rankings from Enterbrain, the system saw a 288 percent increase from last April. They moved 109,000 PS3s on the back of a game demo! Imagine what the full game will do for Sony.
I wonder if the PS3 sales would have seen a increase from a downloadable demo.
