The game is something of an attempt to capture “traditional”Final Fantasygameplay, but apparently it’s so traditional that it’s not allowed to be considered part of the mainFinal Fantasyfranchise, which ought to give you some clue as where Square Enix’s head is at these days. Nevertheless, this DS spin-off seems rather hopeful, not to mention cute, so that’s cool.
