IfTiff’s recent previewdidn’t get you out to your local game shop to reserveFallout 3, maybe this will.GameStop is listing a pretty packed“Collector’s Edition” of the game, which is said to come with:

– Vault Boy Bobblehead: Enjoy your very own Vault Boy with this collector’s item direct from Vault-Tec.

– The Art of Fallout 3: This hardcover book features nearly 100 pages of never-before seen concept art and commentary from Bethesda Game Studios artists.

– The Making of Fallout 3: Get an exclusive, inside look at Bethesda Game Studios and the team behind the game with this special DVD.

– Vault-Tec Lunch Box: The entire package comes in a fully customized metal lunchbox.

All of this comes at $69.99 price point for PC, and $79.99 on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Bethesda, it seems, knows how to do a collector’s edition right — whenOblivionlaunched for the PC and Xbox 360, the collector’s edition came with some pretty slick extras, including a replica coin, a world map, a sizable “pocket guide,” and more.

When I went to Bethesda last year to getour first glimpse ofFallout 3, they gave us the Vault-Tec Lunch Box and Vault Boy Bobblehead, and believe me, it’s definitely worth the extra $10. If history repeats itself, these collector’s editions will be hard to come by once they’re released; even if you’re adamant when it comes tonotreserving games (you’re too cool, you’re too cheap, you hate GameStop), you might want to give it some serious thought.
