With Microsoft pulling the sheets off Kinect at this year’s E3, some wondered why Lionhead and Peter Molyneux — an outspoken supporter of the technology — had nothing to show off. Some had speculated that the developer would include Kinect support in its upcoming action role-playing game,Fable III.

Over the past few days, Molyneux and company have been demoing the title, with no Kinect support in sight. But when asked if Lionhead had anything up its sleeve, Molyneux’s response hinted at a future announcement.

“So that’s another thing that we’re not talking about at the moment,” he told me during a behind-closed-doors demo. “The one thing I can say is that we love Kinect stuff. We’ve got ‘Milo,’ [which] we love. We know about Kinect, absolutely. I don’t want Kinect to be some trivial throwaway thing inFable. I want it to be a real thing.”

Molyneux also confirmed that it would be releasing something similar toFable II Pub Games, the Xbox LIVE Arcade title that featured three mini-games that would help generate gold for use in the full retailFable II.
