Nintendo opened up the conference this year with the world premier ofThe Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Blending the visual styles of bothWind WakerandTwilight Princess, it was quite the sight to behold. Now you can watch the reveal trailer over and over and over again until your eyes bleed.
I was a bit nervous all throughout the on-stage demonstration. Zelda-creator Shigeru Miyamoto was swinging that controller everywhere and nothing was going his way. Those technical hiccups may have soured my initial impressions slightly, but hey! Still Zelda! Still awesome!
Shame that the release was bumped back into next year, but that’s Zelda for ya. Always takes its sweet time.
