Nintendo really seems to be pulling out all the stops this E3, with a slew of first-party titles being announced. Now we can addMetroidto the growing list of games with a Wii game entitled,Metroid: Other M. Some of us had heard rumors about a new adventure for Samus being announced at the show but the one thing I think nobody expected to hear was that the cherished franchise was being placed in the hands of Team Ninja.
A full 3D adventure,Metroid: Other Mpromises to go deeper into the story of everybody’s favorite power-armored bounty hunter. It looks absolutely stunning visually — as one might expect with Team Ninja at the helm — and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. I don’t traditionally go in for the 3DMetroidtitles but I’m going to have to seriously reconsider my stance on that if this winds up being as hot as it looks.
