April is one of those months that feels like a calm before the storm for videogames. The news is painfully slow (ask Destructoid’s news team this week!) and game releases come to a crawl. It’s a perfect time for retailers and e-tailers to runs some sales to get your wallet open. I pulled together some of the better deals I’ve found in the past few days.

Target is pushing the 3DS and Kinect this week. Get a $50 gift card when you buy a 4GB Xbox 360 system with Kinect. There’s also a $10 discount for buying any two Nintendo 3DS games.

Amazon is giving a $20 credit for those that pre-orderPortal 2for the Xbox 360 or PS3. This deal is goo through April 19th. Know that Walmart isn’t messing around. The two have been fighting back and forth over prices the past few months. Walmart is offering the same deal: $5 off the price of Portal 2 and a $20 gift card.

Also at Amazon: For their Deal of the Day, theTony Hawk Shredbundle for the Wii. PS3 or Xbox 360 is only $29.99! It’s like they’re saying ‘take this thing!’
