Wait, what?
Yes, you read that headline right. Check outside and see if the Four Horsemen are riding upon the bones of the damned, because a game’s release datehas changed, and for once, it’snotbecause of a delay. Electronic Arts moved the release date of its highly anticipated sci-fi horrorDeadSpaceforward by a week. The game is now scheduled to ship on October 24 for PS3 and Xbox 360 instead of October 31. Looks like the lure of a Halloween release just wasn’t good enough. The PC version’s date will remain October 31.
“The decision to bring it to fans earlier was due to completing the game early,” stated EA in a rather comical way.“Having spent months of polishing, it will soon be ready to scare gamers across the UK.”
So, Electronic Arts is basically stating that “early game is early,” and now we get to benefit from it. Lord, just like last year, things are going crazy from this month onwards with regards to great looking videogame releases. Looks like I’m going to have to sell yetanotherorgan to Dr. Wildthroat if I’m going to be able to get all these titles.
