On February 6, Criterion Games will be issuing ahugeandfreeupdate toBurnout Paradise. The developer has just detailed all of the changes on theofficial Web site, and it’s nothing short of ridiculously impressive.

For instance, the PlayStation 3 and PC versions of the game will be getting an in-game “Burnout Store.” Here, you’ll be able to buy new content like cars and the upcoming Party Pack without having to leave the game. The game will also be getting a much-asked-for “restart” feature that will allow you to restart events without having to drive all the way back to start point (which was totally horrible). This is a feature many gamers have been crying for since release, so it’s great to see Criterion listening.
