Fans of obscure scrollerThe Red Starmight be very interested to learn that the OFLC has recentlyre-ratedthe game for a multiplatform release. Our tipster checked to make sure this wasn’t just an old rating for the PS2 and Xbox version, and was happy to find that the original rating is still listed, meaning this is entirely new.
The OFLC hasn’t revealed very much outside that, so we don’t know exactly what this means. A PSP version was supposed to arrive at some point, but it never arrived, and with the OFLC listing it as a multiplatform game, a release on just the PlayStation Portable seems somewhat unlikely. This would indicate a console release, and if that’s the case, it would make sense of the game to launch on XBLA and PSN.
And wouldn’t that be lovely?
