You may not have known it, but Konami has recently published a newContraGame. Japan, Europe and Australia have already been enjoying the newContra ReBirthon WiiWare — some since May, and now it’s finally our turn to fight over the spread gun.
The game has been confirmed to be headed to WiiWare in the US on Monday, September 7th, priced at 1000 Wii points. It will feature local 2-player co-op and two unlockable characters, and sports a stylized new look that still manages to match the classic visuals of the series.
This follows closely behind the recentGradius ReBirth, which gives me hope that konami will continue this trend with some of its other games. If that turns out to be the case, what would you like to see next?
