Blogging programmer, Ashish Derhgawen, has presented us a slice of our most horrific future, wherePongplaying super robots will enslave the world with paddles forged from the very reasoning of sin. Well, not really, but what hehasdone is set up two computers toplay aPongcloneagainst one another, using a webcam to imbue one of the machines with cycloptic powers.
Inspired by acomputer that can play on a PSPwhile using a webcam to view the on-screen shenanigans, Ashish hooked up two machines, as per the video above, then set them upon each other in gladiatorial combat, that each warrior may compete for valor and their master’s favor. That, or they’ll just play for hours and hours with no winner ever becoming clear. Stupid boring computers. Neat little video, though.
