I love howCall of Duty: World at War, a game that emphasized the Pacific theatre of World War II, has been overshadowed by its delightfully out of place zombie multiplayer mode. We live in a whacky world, folks. Car alarms go off with the slightest brush of a side panel, but you still have to push over an arcade cabinet before it starts dinging. (Don’t ask.)

Anyway — yesterday,World at War’sfirst bit of downloadable content was announced. The content, dubbed World at War Map Pack 1, drops on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live on March 19 for an unknown price.  It will include a new Nazi Zombie level. The PR dudes were kind enough to take footage from it, so feel free to hit the break for a video and check out the screens in the gallery.

I’m beginning to think that in the future, every game will have zombies in some capacity. I can’t wait to get my hands onMadden 10and mow down undead linebackers with a rough-around-the-edges running back.
