It’s a rumor no more.Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfareis coming to the Wii with a subtle, new name:Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. We’re sure the guys at Infinity Ward endorse this change.
Earlier this morning, Activision announced that the 2007 mega-successful shooter is being ported to Nintendo’s little white console.The title, as rumored, is in the hands of developer Treyarch and will ship alongsideCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2on November 10th.
The official release makes no mention of any action elements and doesn’t come with a single still image of the title. At this point we can only take a stab — and it’s a good, deep stab — that this port will be similar to other Wii-specificCall of Dutytitles Treyarch has created thus far.
