Thegolden cartridgeis a Nintendo icon, and is also the basis ofSquid Kids Ink‘s newest 10-Doh! figure, which features art by Andrew Wilson. Only 100 figures were made, and were originally only available at Gallery1988’s most recent show. Starting Saturday, however, any unsold pieces will be up for grabs for $50 each. Included with each figure is a 5″ x 7″ mini-print from Wilson.
These figures are sweet, and considering that there are only 100 in existence, the price isn’t too bad either. Andrew Wilson’s “Its Dangerous to Go Alone” fits the style of the cartridges perfectly too. If you aren’t sure you’d want one, keep in mind Christmas is only a few months away. In fact, I wouldn’t mind getting one of these as a present. Just saying.
