Want in on theGears of War 3beta next year? One way is to buy the “Epic Edition” of Epic Games’ other title,Bulletstorm.
This special edition (for Xbox 360 only, obviously) will run you $59.99, and comes with 25,000 bonus experience points, a new look for the game’s leash, a Peace Maker Carbine, boots, and some armor. Oh, and thatGears of War 3beta. Kind of a big deal.
For everyone freaking out over the idea of having to shell out money in order to get into a beta program, relax. While it hasn’t been announced, this likely isn’t the only way you’ll be able to get access to the program, so take a deep breath, will you?
Bulletstormis out February 22. No word on when theGears of War 3beta will start, but the game is expected to ship next fall.
