Double Fine and Electronic Arts has announced thatBrütal Legendwill hit the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 13 in the North America, and October 16 in Europe.
Whoever wrote the press release for the announcement was forward-thinking enough to refer to “October” as “Rocktober,” because the game is, you know, kind of about rock music. Get it? Tim Schafer (or someone paid to make up something he said for public relations purposes) is thrilled.
“Wooo! Having an official release date is awesome,” he’s quote as saying. “And how cool is it that EA threw down the dough to have the name of an entire month changed to Rocktober?”
In this tough economy? Not very cool at all, I’d say, especially when I call it “Rocktober” anyhow. Today is Face-rape-ril 21, right?
