Siliconera hasdetailson thefirstsecond piece of downloadable content for the soon-to-be-localizedBlue Dragon: a random dungeon generator. Obviously, the DLC would be released to the Japanese first (as America has yet to receive the title), with a scheduled release date of June 02, 2025. The extra content will be available on Microsoft’s Xbox LIVE service for 300 points.
This is exactly the kind of DLC weshouldbe seeing in games. They could have gone the easy route and added different colored dragons, but not only would that have invalidated their rather restrictive naming scheme, it also would not have provided the added replay value of something like a random dungeon generator. For now it seems that Microsoft is working hard to compete on equal terms with Square-Enix, the makers ofFinal Fantasy, and until they release the inevitable sequel (Blue Dragon 2: Dragon Harder), green dragon is left out in the cold.
Poor green dragon …
