Robot badminton and an action puzzler? I don’t know how the two go together, but whoever is in charge of picking release dates for Xbox LIVE Arcade games sure knows how to keep things interesting.
Wealready knew thatGastronaut Studios’Gel: Set & Match(800 Microsoft Points) was planned for this Wednesday, but asMajor Nelsonpoints out, another title calledBlazing Birds(800 Microsoft Points) is coming out as well.
Blazing Birdslooks fun in a silly, almost dumb way. Robots playing badminton complete with over-the-top power-ups? At the very least, I’ll demo the game!Gel: Set & Match, on the other hand, appears as if it had a much larger budget, although that doesn’t automatically mean it will be good. Still, it’s Gastronaut, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.
