The online T-shirt storeThreadlessstarted off March with aBioShockshirt design contest, and although most of the submissions so far are fan art of the game that’s not even out yet, therulesonly demand that designs are based on the “descent into rapture” theme.

Some shirts take advantage of the translucent twilight tide atmosphere in the game, but others are just outrageous art that only a few might obsess over. Seeing Jack Sparrowwrestle a squidis funny, but I’d never buy something like that. The shirt that gives the big daddyenemy visionwas clever, but a little sloppy, and the ‘dead sucker‘ shirt is really polished, but a little morbid. What’s your favorite one so far?

Thecontestends on April 1st, so if you don’t like what you see then try entering a design of your own. You’re allowed to enter three different shirt designs, but good luck beating my BioShocker shirt idea seen above. Just gotta vector art that bad boy and hope some sick freak doesn’t own the rights to the shocker symbol. Here’s the prizes to get you motivated:

Hmm, Destructoid submarine perhaps? Dtoid robot scuba divers? Ron Workman drowning a clown? Just a suggestion, I’ll do anything to tide me over until this game finally comes out on August 21st in America (August 24th in Europe). Thanks to readerFana7icfor the tip of the awesome art entries, andlet us knowif any of you decide to bring change the them to robotic rapture with some Dtoid fan art.
