Fantasy and game-related book publisher Tor Books is set to publish aBioShockbook this fall, according to a page in the publisher’s latest catalogue.
Scant details are scant, butGamasutrapulled a minor quote and a juicy suggestion of an author from the teaser. The book will supposedly take readers “deeper into the realms” of theBioShockstoryline. And according to the catalogue’s index, thepagewas written by Ken Levine — a writer and designer for 2K Games’ originalBioShockand arguably the person best equipped to handle Rapture’s story.
The million dollar question — is Levine writing thebook— remains unanswered for time time being.
For the record, Tor Books doesn’t screw around. They’ve worked with some of the hottest sci-fi and fantasy authors of this generation and continue to publish great videogame-related novels likeGhosts of OnyxandDragon Age: The Stolen Throne.
