How quickly we forget — Rocksteady’sBatman: Arkham Asylumwas originally supposed to be released in June. When we found out that it was being delayed, we cried. The game was eventually released on August 25; that’s like, two whole months!

Gamers might have been a bit worked up about it, but the game’s publishers, Eidos and Warner Bros., were cool as cucumbers. Rocksteady’s Sefton Hill toldKotakuthat the publishers were fine with the extra time. Hill says the reason was “confidence in the game” and the ability to show that the additional development time was “well spent.”
