If youknow your anime, you know the name Haruhi Suzumiya (and if you don’t, the series that features her,The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzimiya, is a very popular series.) A PSP and aPS2 gamecame out last year in Japan based on the series, but America has yet to see any such thing (and likely won’t, which is what importing is for.)

Speaking of importing, you’ll have to do that if you want to check out this year’s game anout Haruhi, which is a Wii game and apparently focuses on dancing. FromPlaykon:

“The latest Haruhi game for the Wii will be a dancing game, involving timing Haruhi and company’s dancing with the Wiimote. (…) there will be a story mode advanced by skillful dancing, a free mode in which you can freely choose costumes, music and stage, and the dancing will be accomplished with three characters, so Kyon is unlikely to feature with Haruhi, Nagato and Mikuru on hand. Apparently, there will also be a version packaged with a figure.”

For a girl who is both a fan of the anime and ofnutty rhythm games, this sounds like pure heaven. Check out the Famitsu scans in the gallery if you feel the same. I will import this the day it comes out and dance around in my living room like I have epilepsy. By the way, if you like Haruhi enough to want a figure of her, I hearthere’s a place around these partsthat has a lot of info on that.
