You can expectRed Dead Redemptionto be at the top of nearly every “game of the year” list over the next few weeks, but it would seem thatTIMEmagazine, of all places, is going against the grain. The revered publication has placedAlan Wakeatop its top ten games of 2010.
Other surprising (but welcome) hits inTIME‘s top ten list wereAngry Birds,LimboandSuper Meat Boy, all of which deserve praise. The rest of the picks were the games you would expect, but here’s the top ten list anyway if you’d like to argue about it:
Much respect toTIMEfor listing a mobile game, as well two of the year’s very best downloadable titles. It’s almost like the guys who put this list together know what the f*ck they’re talking about, which is pleasant.
