It will be available as a retail package as well as a download, but you may want to consider grabbing the boxed copy: it comes with a pet and a “package of virtual items. (Both have pre-order bonuses that net pets as well, apparently.)
The expansion, according to Funcom’s latest press release, will let “players travel to a unique part of Conan’s world where an ancient traditional culture clashes with dark forces.” We’re not exactly sure what that means, but we’re guessing you won’t be whisked away to theConan-equivalent of a Cold Stone Creamery. On second thought, maybe you will. We’ve seen some crazy stuff inside a Cold Stone.
