On the heels of a formal announcement ofsolid growthinAge of Conan, Funcom would also like all of you to know that a pyrotechnic one-year anniversary contest is happening in Hyboria right now.
During this week, the skies will be blotted with fireworks in eight-hour intervals. And you’re invited to take screenshots of them for an opportunity to win several real life “exciting prizes” from GameRigs and Funcom. In game, you can type “/claim” to rock something special as well.
But that’s not exactly all. As part of the anniversary, players with six months or more subscription time will receive a free character slot. (Others will be able to purchase these “soon.”)
Free character slots and fire(works)? Count us in. Still, though, the bear thing needs to happen.
