Do you guys remember .Tiff? She used to write for the site. I miss her a lot.

She was the first person to show me how perfectly Cartoon Network’sAdventure Time!andSuper Mario Bros. 2fit together. Ever since I first saw this image (and thepromo that followed it), I’ve wanted to play a full-fledged game based in theAdventure Time!universe. Seeing this more detailed sprite sheet (created by the mysteriousAdventure Time! Art tumblrcontributor IT) only makes my hunger for aAdventure Time!game more intense.

In case you can’t tell, the show means a lot to me. For most of my life, I’ve been waiting for the day when the children who were brought up on videogames would grow up and spread videogame logic to other forms of entertainment. With the release of theScott Pilgrimcomic/movie and shows likeAdventure Time!, I feel like that day has finally come.

Some would say it’s too much inbreeding forAdventure Time!, a show that’s pretty much just a non-playable videogame, to get a videogame adaptation. All I can say is, that inbreeding seems to be working just fine for theScott Pilgrimgame. I think a game would work just as well forAdventure Time!(especially if you got Paul Robertson involved.)
