Activision announced earlier todayGuitar Hero Greatest Hitsduring their financial conference call. The game will be comprised of the songsGuitar Herofans liked the most fromGuitar Hero,Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero IIIandGuitar Hero: Aerosmith. All of these repackaged songs from the earlier games will be remade to work with all ofGuitar Hero World Tour’sinstruments.Guitar Hero Greatest Hitswill be out sometime within the next two quarters for the Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation 3.
It’s really annoying seeing that this is just going to be a repackaging of songs people already bought. Why don’t they just re-release all of the older songs as DLC? Whatever, I’m just glad I’m not into these games. I can just play Simon Says while listening to my iTunes library on shuffle and have the same experiences.Oh no he didn’t!
