In a sea of sequels, one of my biggest surprises at E3 2010 was ACE Team’sRock of Ages. Long story short, it’s batsh*t crazy and I desperately want to try it out. Long story long, Timhas a previewof this bizarre take on the increasingly lifeless tower defense genre.
I was so caught up in its initial showing that I kind forgot all aboutZeno Clash 2, which ACE Team has mentioned a few times before. Big Download thought to follow up with co-founder Andres Bordeu, so props to them!
“All I can say is that we have developed some content for the sequel, but at this point the studio has decided to focus on developing new games/IPs, thusRock of Agesis our main priority.”
“And yes,” Andres continues, “we are working on another game concept which is notZeno Clash 2. We’re a small studio so there is only so much we can work on simultaneously.”
In my eyes, holding off onZeno Clash 2for the time being is a wise idea — and the sequel will be better off for it. Plus, Ireallydo want to see what’s up with that rock dude.Why does he have a face?
