One of the new features of the 3DS is the ability to suspend software, allowing you to leave a game while keeping your progress intact. Unfortunately, a number of users are getting error messages instead of sweet 21st Century convenience.

In true Nintendo fashion, the message itself is completely unhelpful, simply telling you that there’s a problem and you need to turn the 3DS off. The good news is that it doesn’t seem to cause much harm outside of minor irritation. Your data and your 3DS shouldn’t be getting screwed up by this.

I’ve not personally experienced the error message yet, but it’s been reported inAsphalt 3D,Super Monkey Ball 3DandSuper Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, and could potentially affect any game randomly.

Fortunately, most of the launch titles are so crap you’ve probably not spent enough time playing them in order togetthis issue.
