Microsoft thrall and game designer Peter Molyneux has confirmed thatFable IIIwill be episodic, stating that “the first big episodes” will make up the main game, and smaller installments shall follow as DLC. “I’ve often thought it would be brilliant to be walking through Charles Dickens’ London. While a lot of times I like to show YouTube videos, what I don’t often show is YouTube comments. If you’re new to the internet, you know that YouTube commenters are pretty much fished out of the bottom of the internet cesspool. Nowhere else will you find such blatant stupidity, homophobia, racism, stupidity, inanity, hostility, and stupidity. Since this is the week of TGS, I thought what I’d do is check out the comments left on a variety of trailers that demoed this week....
This image is the first public shot ofDiRT 3, and if you find yourself mistaking it forDiRT 2, you aren’t alone. The picture is frame 114 from the game’s debut trailer, which will be airing this weekend on — where else? — ESPN during the X Games. I would argue it’s very difficult to get a sense of detail level, what these games are always pushing, from this still. That said, I’m sure the trailer will be lovely and extreme and cure world hunger....
Kick the Zombieis one of those incredibly familiar games where you launch something from one side of the screen and see how far it travels. You’ve doubtless played a billion types of this game before, but this one is free, and has a pretty theme tune. The game definitely needs a more frequent appearance of power-ups to keep things interesting but the ability to buy guns and juggle the hapless ghoul is still pretty neat....
