This isn’t the first time someone’s resorted to harvesting watts for their Pokéwalker without going outside for a quick stroll down the block — as evidenced bythis hilarious scheme— but it is by far the most ridiculous one I’ve seen yet. The video above displays how the nefarious contraption works. Essentially, the device violently shakes an unsuspecting Pokéwalker by tapping into the raw power of K’NEX. That’s it. Simple, yet brilliant....

Since I’ve ramped up my coverage of iOS games on Destructoid, I’ve had a lot of iPhone/iPod users asking me for recommendations. Tecmo Koei has announcedNinja Gaiden 3behind closed doors at the Tokyo Game Show today, creating the first all-new console Ninja Gaiden since Itagaki’s departure from Team Ninja. So far, details about the game are thin on the ground, save for a teaser image and a few plot hints. According to Tecmo,Ninja Gaiden 3will set the scene for a “more violent” game, as if that were humanly possible. A darker scenario, more blood than ever before, and a humanized version of protagonist Ryu have all been promised....

Followinglast year’s rumorsandsubsequent confirmation, SEGA has officially announcedThe Dreamcast Collectionfor Xbox 360 and PC. It’s due to launch in North America on February 22, with a European release coming February 25. The Dreamcast Collectionfeatures the games that have been released on Xbox Live Arcade,Sonic Adventure,Crazy Taxi,SEGA Bass Fishing, andSpace Channel 5 Part 2. They’ll feature everything seen in the XBLA versions, including enhanced graphics, online leaderboards and Achievements. The 360 version will come to retail stores, while the PC alternative can be obtained through digital sources....

The FedEx Fairy doesn’t usually come for me on the weekends, but because I was out of town yesterday (and I made a stink about it), they returned today with the goodies I missed.
