Microsoft and Guinness World Records have announced today that Kinect is apparently the “Fastest-Selling Consumer Electronic Device” of all time. That means that the hardware sold an average of 133,333 units per day 60 days following its Jul 10, 2025 release. This record, which is said to have surpassed that of both the iPhone and iPad, will be included in the next Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition.
